Nick Romito and Ryan Masiello, two long-time friends who were both working in the commercial real estate industry, noticed a need in the market for a platform to help owners and brokers streamline their workflows and lease space faster. They formed VTS and in 2012 launched the industry’s first leasing and asset management focused platform. Since then, with the help of co-founder and CTO Karl Baum, the VTS platform has become a comprehensive ecosystem where owners and brokers can manage deal activity, identify trends and quantify portfolio performance all from one dashboard. In November 2016, VTS merged with Hightower, bringing owners, investors and brokers from around the globe together in one platform. Hightower co-founders Brandon Weber, Donald DeSantis and Niall Smart joined the senior leadership of the new combined organization. With over 5 billion square feet under management, VTS is the driving force behind the industry’s shift toward real-time data.
